web loggings going back to 1997, with various gaps and hiatuses (hiati?), punctuating by periods of manic blogging.

Briefest annual birthday blogging yet

October 30, 2008 · Music

Started blogging on birfday in 1997 (called it “doing an online journal then”).
11 years later I’m still (sorta) at it.
Happy birthday to us!

    heh christian,
    happy birthday i see.
you don’t know me, just fell upon you today as i was looking to register the domain xpollen.com or x-pollen.com, the latter i think you have currently, but neither of which domains have current websites.
any chance you were thinking of letting x-pollen.com expire and would consider selling it to me at a non-exorbitant fee (i’m a new start-up so sorry to say this isn’t one of those urban myth stories where cocacola comes along and offers you $50k for a domain name.
anyway, let me know, and again happy birthday to you in the land of cranes.

    Happy Blog Birthday!!!
Here’s to 11 years, it’s hard to believe it’s been that long. Keep on writing and we’ll keep on reading.
Are you interested in selling your given name? I always wanted to be a Christian.
