Mental health community design refresh

(stub)

The 7 Cups product had evolved through a collaborative design process with its community but had become sprawling and unfocused. This redesign started with a concept map to diagram the meaning layer of 7 Cups, identify its core value providing free on-demand anonymous private emotional support from trained volunteer listeners, required multiple iterative refactors of the information architecture, included a new onboarding experience codenamed “Yoga”, consolidated and streamlined the navigation, and refreshed the brand.

The result was increased engagements, signups, retention, and numbers of people helped.
