Adding a Blogging Layer with w.bloggar

Matt Croydon’s postneo blog contains a pointer to
w.bloggar. I’m not sure what the right term for this is, an interface for blogging? middleware? It posts to Blogger and MovableType as well as a few other tools, pings and offers other management services.
I suppose one way of aggregating blogs on multiple systems would be to use such a tool as a front-end, but I’d be worried about adding more complexity to the process. As I get up to speed with Movable Type (experimental MT blog at Meme List), I notice that despite MT’s famous “trickiness” it has many of the hallmarks of a second-generation tool. Among them, detailed explanation of how to import your blog from other tools, such as Blogger.
I’ll be running a comparison of Radio and MT this coming week.
