Neighbors Yelling at Each Other

Revving the engine of one of their front-lawn parked cars, shouting at each other. The women in this family (is it?) are always louder than their men. Oh the man is yelling too. I don’t speak the language, but her voice is piercing.
Then there are the thumps, at times the children, toddlers and babies, crying along. Threatening to call the police. There is some use of English. “I don’t care if he goes back to jail!”
Outbreaks at all hours of day or night. The barking pitbull. Disturbing crescendos. The awful sense of a doom impending.
