CNET Newsdotcomdotcom ran the expected food fight / horse race take on the Pie wiki vs. RSS story (emphasis on vs.). The writer didn’t get much beyond the surface and picked up just one distorted reflection among the no doubt numerous possible versions of what’s been going on in blog syndication and interoperability in the last few months.
Diego Doval offers a pretty sound starting point for critiquing the CNet article and includes an update on the discussion ranging from Many-to-Many to Burningbird to Formerly Echo to Intertwingly’s comments about the problems some people have had with the use of the wiki as the hub of the collaborative development process.
