Blogging the Ukraine revolution

If you want direct reportage from the Ukraine on their election crisis, then don’t miss this Ukraine Revolution weblog.
This post includes a link to a “smoking gun” MP3 sound file documenting plans for vote fraud:

Voice records containing voices of members of Yanukovich head-quarters and government discussing the methods and ways of falsification were published by Ukrainian security services. It’s interesting – will government “notice” it?

  1. Orange Storm Avatar
    Orange Storm

    Chorus: Together we are many
    We cannot be defeated.
We’ll be here night and day,
‘Til our new president is seated.
And our many have grown stronger.
Our song now louder – we’ll wait no longer.
And if our great land needs us to,
we’ll camp in this cold but faithful square.
Until every yesterday’s man, with yesterday’s power
is gone for good, from yesterday’s leader’s chair.
And if they think for a single moment
that we’ll flinch under yesterday’s tired scare,
Our resolve will drive these old, fat, and greedy men,
to rip from their heart their care for Red Square,
and from their head, every last gray hair
If you deny us our demands,
then our demands shall only grow.
You ask for more obedience, we’ll yell
    “Falsifications. No!”
    The first of these demands:
    That crooked Yanukovych must go.
    Our second demand is simple,
    A new voice, “Machinations. No!”
Lastly what we insist you do,
Unless you want this Orange bomb to blow
Open this cage you’ve kept us in,
Or feel the wrath of our rage within,
This isn’t negotiable, “Prison rules. No!”
There you have it, all we want,
Seen in his Orange ties and integruous eyes.
Appoint our new leader, humble and wise,
No more old guard, enprisoning binds,
    Ukraine deserves justice and truth,
    Hell “No to lies!”
    Yushchenko, Yushchenko!
He’s the future, he’s our President.
Open your ears and hearts to your people,
their shouts are heavan-sent and evident.
    For now the Velvet Revolution,
    has remained peaceful and calm.
But if you fight this Orange solution,
Your ‘yesterday’s-ways’ find the eye of our storm.
Yes! To a brand new vision,
A new path for Ukraine to go.
Yes! To the deliverance of our people
From the iron fist you show.
Yes! To life, true and just.
    Ukraine screams “Yes to Yushchenko”.
    Chorus: Together we are many
    We cannot be defeated.
We’ll be here night and day,
‘Til our new president is seated.
And our many have grown stronger.
Our song now louder – we’ll wait no longer.
And if our great land needs us to,
we’ll camp in this cold but faithful square.
Until every yesterday’s man, with yesterday’s power
is gone for good, from yesterday’s leader’s chair.
And if they think for a single moment
that we’ll flinch under yesterday’s tired scare,
Our resolve will drive you old, fat, and greedy men,
to rip from your heart your care for Red Square,
and from your head, every last gray hair
‘We aren’t beasts of burden’; our labor’s fruits
    belong to us now.
Just as ‘We aren’t goats’. Sweating, bleeding,
    suffering and dying for Moscow.
We are of Ukraine. You can’t hear us, we scream
    even louder.
“WE ARE OF UKRAINE”, the Orange Sea rising
Her sons and daughters now empowered.
It’s now or never we say once more,
If you wish to avoid an unwinnable battle,
    Enough waiting and debating,
We’re a mighty snake with Yushchenko, our rattle.
    “Minute coo pegalista,”
We’ve heard from you too long.
    Today we declare as “zaftra”,
For now we are proud, we’re strong.
This Orange hurricane grew in defense,
As you lied, tortured, and cheated.
The fat old men stole mother Ukraine,
    Soon you’ll all be unseated.
The Orange storm you hear growing louder,
    Can’t be silenced or deleted.
Spirits of our proud ancestors with us,
    Together we cannot be defeated.
    .
    Chorus: Together we are many
    We cannot be defeated.
We’ll be here night and day,
‘Til our new president is seated.
And our many have grown stronger.
Our song now louder – we’ll wait no longer.
And if our great land needs us to,
we’ll camp in this cold but faithful square.
Until every yesterday’s man, with yesterday’s power
is gone for good, from yesterday’s leader’s chair.
If it’s needed, we’ll burn to the ground,
Every last birthright, from our mother you stole.
And six feet underneath the ash and rubble,
The ‘yester-ways’ eternally rot with you in your hole.
For now we gather peacefully, warmed by comradery,
    even in this driving snow.
But come December 26th, you declare war on us, if our
    president’s not Yushchenko.
Then we’ll turn our attention to you Kuchma,
    and to Putin, and Yanukovych,
Six hands covered in Ukrainian blood,
Just so three men could get rich.
So, as just and righteous Ukrainians,
After Christmas they’ll have one day.
Then we’ll drive you all from Kiyv,
you beg forgiveness each step of the way.
And we pray to the ghosts of those valiant men,
whose lives were so honorably given,
To mother Ukraine, who would die for them too,
Since we are ‘not dead yet’, we keep livin’.
