As most of the online world knows, over the weekend a presidential adviser used his right-wing microblogging network to continue repeating all the plays he used to spoil the company behind it.
This weekend it was another one of those ludicrous emails couched in weasel words with all the “macho” threats taking place at the Nazi site and not in the official correspondence.

Essentially, they wanted to make sure we got the memo about the new TPS report cover sheets.
This bullshit is designed to disrupt, to generate cheap attack lines, to create flawed and leaky data sets, to waste time.
So many people mocked this request across the Internet this weekend that the man cosplaying ghost president rolled out another impotent threat: to fire anyone who has ignored the return-to-office demands for a whole month.
My best guess is that this is approximately no one. In my own agency we haven’t got duty station assignments or an RTO date yet, beyond “to be determined” and “possibly May” (or July?), so… ooh, scary clocm ticking.
This morning we’ll be asked to keep another separate list of which of our direct reports is on leave or was fired because of course the people sending out these directives have no clue of how we already track normal stuff (like leave) and of course they are unable to track the impact of their reckless firing actions.
Looks like we’re in for another carnival of shitshows this week, if we make it to the end.
