CloudOn 7.0 launched October 30, 2014 with an all-new native gesture-based doc editor replacing the originally virtualized (remote streaming) editing interface.
Development of this functionality was led by Shachar Binyamin, a product manager on my team, and the process included nearly six months of beta testing through multiple phases across ever increasing sub-geographies.
The new editor is faster, more responsive, and easier to use than its predecessor and competition. It has the largest editing area of any iPad doc editor on the market, and relies primarily on gestures for editing, styling, and moving of text as well as insertion, rotating, resizing, and positioning of images.

feels good updating my portfolio, even though I don’t wear the design hat anymore. Hard to pick just three highlights from the past two plus years but these were the standout milestones so far.
