Compete and win! Antifundamentalist morons.org is looking to add a writer to their staff and are holding a competition to select the lucky winner. Your prize will be a thrice-weekly voluntary column and a large and growing readership. I’d compete if I didn’t already have 48 hours of work to do every day and I’d probably want to attack market fundamentalists:
So, do you think you have what it takes to write about the religious reich and the erosion of civil liberties in this country, but do it in a way that people find at least a little amusing? Can you belittle a fundamentalist and berate a politician? Do you have the time to write 2-3 articles per week from a long list of reader- and writer-submitted URLs?
If so, we’d like to hear from you. In the past, I’ve posted a URL for folks to write a story about, but this time I think I’ll do things a bit differently. Starting with today’s list and for the next week, you can pick any news item out of the “Stories we missed” articles, write up an article in morons.org style, and submit it to our pool of writers via feedback. Our existing writers will pick out some new writers from the feedback we receive.
