@benbrown always one of my favorite media! the signal to bandwidth ratio is huge @debs true @debs no, i mean trolls can use this to falsify claims It just occurred to me that pay-walled news sources are particularly vulnerable to being misquoted and misattributed. Trolls often use links that fail to support their claims on inspection, counting on people to accept the link itself as proof of something. If the link is to Financial Times or something I will never pay to read, I cannot verify any quotation claiming to be from it.
