Maps and legends

The record is starting to exist now in two digital senses, a sort of digital conception as they come together.

First, it now has a commercial pointer in the universal pricing code namespace. This currently has no relevant data associated with it, but it soon will. It comes courtesy of the shop that will be reproducing and packaging the CDs, Crooked Cove.

Also, when we realized the CD format limits the amount of legible type we can cram in, Bill suggested we include a QR code on the packaging both to provide more complete credits (such as who played what instruments on which tracks), lyrics, and other liner notes.

This way even before someone buys the record they can learn more about what’s on it. I already grabbed a few URLs for the record and for now I’ve got one place to preorder it setup at Bandcamp, so for now the QR code points there.

I love it when a plan comes together.
