I don’t want to jinx anything but it feels like we are on track for a June 11 release date for my album (in digital formats).
- The music is nearly done. This Friday David and I will discuss a few possible final tweaks and then Jeremy will make any that we decide we want to hear, and then it’s on the mastering and the sequencing, after which I have twelve music files to upload to CD Baby (for streaming and purchase purposes) and send to Crooked Cove to turn into physical CDs.
- Speaking of which, Crooked Cove’s favorite designer, Rowan Bishop, is taking the packaging design direction we have been exploring and is now working on a proposed final design for the CD cover, back, and interior.
- Plus, I just hired an 18F colleague who is an amazing product designer (which in our parlance means they can design the website and build what they design), so all the liner, personnel, recording, lyrics and other information that won’t fit on the CD packaging can still get out there. Plus we both get to make another website, one of our favorite things!
We’re in the homes stretch now
