One reason I posted so few entries to this blog in June (and No, this is not one of those apologies for not blogging more posts, not when nobody has ever complained to me about me not filling their ears with enough words) is that I got obsessed with a side project.
I’ve been teaching myself to code with the help of LLMs in the interests of building my own LLM-powered assistant product manager bot thing. I call it Piper Morgan and I’ve been writing (with the help of LLMs) a series of articles about things I’ve been learning in this process.
At first I posted them to Medium because I like that interface for writing and I have people there who follow me from when I was writing Product Management for UX People over there, but most of my professional audience hangs out on LinkedIn, so I also linked to the Medium posts there.
Except LinkedIn, like Facebook, doesn’t like to distribute posts that link elsewhere, so I bit the bullet and started reposting each essay to LinkedIn as an article. That did get a bit more traction but this morning I noticed the LI has gotten into the newsletter game, so I set one up and copied those first two articles into the new newsletter.

It’s been less than two hours and 110 people have signed up so it looks like this is the way to go. If you are on LinkedIn and want to follow the series there, you can subscribe to get updates.
