Dear diary

Thursday morning. Tomorrow is the 4th. Have a meeting at 8:05 with the other leads to sync and refine tickets. Making coffee. Colleague made a draft overview roadmap yesterday I need to review and start maintaining to help the team see its bearings.

I ran into a wall in google analytics yesterday so will ask in slack and go to office hours today to get that sorted.

The team has its daily sync, and halfway through our product owner will join us to discuss q4 goals. We have the weekly internal sync for people at Kind working on VA projects with our ceo and Josh, an on a different VA project also my onboarding buddy. He had an interesting suggesting about adopting model context protocol for Piper Morgan that I need to follow up on with my bot-advisors on that project.

I plan to meet with olks volunteering for the global impact fellowship project today but may have to leave halfway through to attend a discussion about an eng spike related to form-submission status.

I have my weekly sync with my kind boss at noon and at 12:30 is that analytics office hours.

I posted a new article to the LinkedIn newsletter (the one I posted to Medium yesterday) – up to 316 subscribers as of just now – and had the Piper Morgan communications bot pitch me six more blog ideas covering the end of the prototype and the beginning of the MVP, as well as a documentation pause. I finished upfinished one which I posted to Medium and will post to LinkedIn tomorrow.

Last night I made more progress on the web UI testing for Piper, which is revealing more architectural skeletons that we are reforming as we go (to mix metaphors poorly). I expect to noodle on that this afternoon while B is out and before I go to the gym.

I think that’s the gist of my day. I’ve been eating + snacking a bit more than I’d like so I’m going to be a bit more ascetic about my eating today just to gradually bring myself back in line.
