The New AIM
I joined the AIM team in December 2011, immediately after the preview release. In my tenure we reorganized the product development process, addressed the critical launch blockers, and shipped a cross-platform product that offers the best way to have conversations with friends.
Bonus: I recorded a ukulele tone for the mobile AIM team to use as one of the options for incoming messages:
We brainstormed an initial draft of a concept model of the Yahoo Application Platform on white boards, transcribed this to omnigraffle, printed at poster scale on a plotter, and hung the poster in a prominent hallway. [+]
Proof of concept design for a landing page for all manifestations of Yahoo’s open strategy, a one-stop clearinghouse for feeds, APIs, methods, kits, reference implementations, live instances, and news.
