The New AIM
I joined the AIM team in December 2011, immediately after the preview release. In my tenure we reorganized the product development process, addressed the critical launch blockers, and shipped a cross-platform product that offers the best way to have conversations with friends.
Bonus: I recorded a ukulele tone for the mobile AIM team to use as one of the options for incoming messages:
In addition to curating the Yahoo design pattern library I also collaborated with the L10n and I18n teams on a multi-lingual glossary of standard Yahoo interface terms, also known as the terms library. The illustration here is of part of the English language version of the glossary.
From 2007 to 2010 I was the third curator of the Yahoo design pattern library. I worked with the entire product design community at Yahoo to codify and disseminate best practices and reusable modular design components, and worked to evangelize Yahoo design patterns within the company and in the global professional user experience design community.
